Morris Band....possibly the best Middle School Band known to mankind |

Everyone needs to know that the morris Band directors are just THE BEST. anyone who gets to be in their
Band is really lucky cuz they're awesome people and awesome teachers...ah the good old days haha.
this amazing Band has just earned their fourth consecutive sweepstakes this
year....and not only that...both of the morris Bands earned straight ones....it just does not get any better...seriously
Morris Band is the best Band. We have 4 consecutive sweepstakes so far, we got straight
ones at UIL last year, and both Bands got straight ones this year, we have the best Band directors in the history
of Band directors: Mr. Bayless and Mr. Smith ... we had the record number of people make all region (17!!!), and 85 people
made a one at solo and ensemble! lets see you beat that!
here are the 17 people who made all region from Morris in 2005...
one alto sax (thats me), one percussionist (the only one from our entire school disrict),
3 bassoons (1st, 2nd, and 3rd chairs!!!), 2 trumpets, 3 flutes, one oboe, one bari sax, two french horns, one clarinet,
one baritone, and one bass clarinet.
you get the point...we're awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...although I am no longer an official morris Band member, I'm still a morris Band member
at heart. haha. and I shall always love the morris middle school Band and Mr.Bayless and Mr. Smith and they will always be
my Band directors. (tear)
