Well this is a new page on this site so I'll be adding
more to it as time goes by. For now...well i guess I should say that the fact that you are reading this means that either
you are really bored or you are a Band nerd. So if you are a Band nerd...Good Job. haha. you have chosen the right path in
life. haha just kidding.
You know you are a Band nerd when:
The Band hall is your second home
The Band hall is your locker
The Band hall is where you go every morning and after
school...even during lunch
You practice because you want to
You get excited about new music
You stay in step with the people around you
You start conducting to whatever it is you're listening
to
You know the Band hall's phone number by heart
You know your directors phone numbers by heart
You know your Band director's kids by name
Your Band director's kids know you by name
You get all excited when you see a bunch of Band
director's together
You enjoy wearing your uniform
Your screen name/e-mail adress is Band related
You take Band nerd as a compliment
You have read at least two music theory books because
you wanted to
You are truely interested in chord progressions
You've attempted or succeeded at memorizing the circle
of fifths
You do research on your music
You've named your instrument
You throw birthday parties for your instrument
Your instrument has a family
You've come up with, or use Band expressions
You save anything that has the word BAND on it
You are agrivated when you have to miss Band class
You have read this whole list and are happy to see
that you are indeed a true Band nerd.
Some of these are more extreme than others, so as
long as you fit into some of them you're okay. These are all just based on me and I'm a pretty extreme Band nerd haha. let
me know if you have some others that you'd like me to add.
